Omiza Restaurant

Ok, last time I was here was a year plus ago and they were having some growing pains. And it was good! Now it is even better, and I'm a pretty harsh critic... at least sometimes, lol. Food portions for the grill were huge, IMO. Yes, it is expensive, and the quality of the meat... Especially the waygu, was impressive! And the service is much more personable too, in my experience. 5 out of 5 for sure.

We ate here for my mom's birthday. The atmosphere, service and food were all excellent 👌 We had the beef bulgogi bao buns, pork belly ramen, and shrimp katsu ramen, and Jasmine tea. Best broth I've tasted in the area!!! Critique: there were only 2 shrimp added to that meal on the side. Perhaps 2 more shrimp(4total) would be a better serving as we aren't interested in ordering that one again for paying extra. Also the website shows happy hour on Saturday. That was not an option anymore, and it seems some prices have changed. Overall a great place for dinner, and we plan to go again 👍

Usually, I don’t write reviews. However, I feel the need to share our recent experiences at Omiza’’s BBQ dining experience which have left my spouse and I extremely disappointed due to the lackluster service we received. The server assigned to our table displayed a lack of accommodation. We had to repeatedly request refills for our water, and to our dismay, our drinks were the last to arrive. Additionally, the orders for our entrees were mixed up, as they were served before any other courses. After my husband and I had completed our main entrees and butcher feast, I was quite full but realized my soups were yet to serve. Therefore I approached our server named Rachel, and inquired about the status of our soups. She assured me that they were still on their way. However, I continued to wait and they never arrived. Finally, I made the decision to inform Rachel that I would like to cancel the soup order. She said it could not be taken off the bill, I asked if I could speak to a manager she said they’re not here today?!? How could a restaurant operate without a manager on a weekend dinner night! We left very disappointed based on this service received! Overall, my food was good, service terrible!
